The
Calcasieu Parish Mosquito Control Department
operates an integrated pest management program for
mosquitoes. Our program consists of surveillance,
identification, source reduction, larvaciding,
adulticiding, public education and research.
Our
Rodent Control Department provides free inspections
to confirm infestations and to identify contributing
factors of rodent activity. We strive to
teach\inform the public about the importance of
sanitation and ways to reduce or eliminate
conditions conducive to rodent harborage.
